This has been the summer of insanity. InZanity, that is... i'm going to try to recount the past 3 weeks events but I am not sure i can remember everything that has happened.
So we were were at camp and having a blast. Swimming. Playing. Listening to girls sing. Eating in the dining hall and spending time with Angie and Becca, my nannies. Then all of sudden the nannies disappeared and I got to see mommie for a whole day at camp! I was so excited to spend the whole day with mommie but a little confused about why she was not hanging out with all the counselors and campers. As it turns out, she heard there were flying pigs at camp and was trying to isolate us from them. If you are thinking that flying pigs=swine flu, then you are 110% correct, there was swine fluing around camp. I don't get what the big deal is because pigs are cool doods and things that fly are fly, but whatever it was, it was BAD, because after 24hours of isolation with mammasita, we packed up everything into the van and left camp!
The next thing I knew, I woke up and was at grandma and grandpa weinstein's house in Connecticut. We've been here ever since. It's been 2 weeks and we still can't go back to camp yet. So, we are waiting patiently. Dad took his big exam last week so I have been spending more time with him. We go for walks, go swimming, play outside, and lounge around the house. It is the shizznit. Daddie told me that we are going to spend the week together before he starts a rotation in ob/gyn back at our home in Rochester and if we are lucky, we might even get to go to Rochester for a few days because his friend Jon Mahoney is getting married this weekend!
Over the past few weeks, mommie and I have been spending so much time together - it's been great. We've gone swimming every day, we've been for long walks. and we've hung out with so many family and friends.
I get to jump in bed with grandma and grandpa in the morning and I get to talk to them all the time.
Aunt hillary and uncle josh came up for the past two weekends and i loved spending time with them. they danced with me and kissed me and i loved talking to them.
my friend henry came up from New Jersey and we had our first sleepover! henry is 3 days older than i am and his mommie is alex who is a close friend of mommie's from camp. we had a blast together and looked at eachother but didn't really talk. that was awkward. we formed a new bond because we both went under the water for the first time in our life! it was a weird but thrilling experience. we both coughed when we came up from going under but overall, it was a positive experience!
I've hung out with nathan (mary pat and grant's son), saidan (liza and suvadim's daughter), noah (stacy and dj's son), rick (mommie's friend from high school), and ryan (mommie's friend from high school)! I also saw dina and lisa (mommie's friends from elementary school) - I went to dina's house for dinner (yummy!)
I went to see great grandpa poppy harold! i love when he holds me and talks to me. I also got to see cousin Elissa and her BF Greg!
We went to grandpa's office and met elinor and christina, the girls who work there- they had so many pictures of me on their walls! I'm like a celebrity!
In conclusion (yes, I said 'in conclusion') it's just been so much fun being here but mommie is conflicted. I know mommie needs and wants to get back to camp but also wants me to stay healthy because I am #1 in her life (dad is #1.01). So, we don't know what is going to happen! Ahhhhhhhh! Are we going back to camp? Staying in CT? Going to Rochester?! I want some continuity here people.....does anyone have a magic 8 ball I can borrow?!
